Our 9 years growing Datil Peppers has taught us how to work within nature to get the best of her bounty. We evaluate our farms health by the abundance of bees, butterflies, hummingbirds, lizards, and frogs. We are aware of our environment, making every effort to use as little pesticides as possible, concentrating on more natural remedies such as ladybugs, soaps and oils. We’re proud to know our farm is constantly visited by deer, turkeys, sandhill cranes, rabbits, squirrels and some remarkably friendly wild hogs. Even Florida Black Bears have been known to make an appearance every now and then (thank goodness at night).
